Reel World are a three-piece women's string band from Kentucky. Sue Massek plays banjo and guitar, Karen Jones, fiddle, 5-sting violin and bowed psaltery, and Bev Futrell, guitar, harmonica and violin, and all sing. They are joined by stand-up bassist Sharon Ruble and pianist Elise Melrood. Featured songs include the band's several originals, the traditional 'Trouble in Mind,' Tony Rice's 'Old Grey Coat,' Bernice Johnson Reagon's 'Chile, Your Waters Run Red through Soweto,' Hecht & Block's 'Walkin' After Midnight' and others.
