For over thirty years Paul Smith and his friends have assembled on most Saturday nights in Bert Hatfield's kitchen over in Hardy. Sometimes they will play popular bluegrass or country songs, but most often they return to the old-time repertory native to the region, located right in the heart of Kentucky's coal mining belt. Here Paul performs an assortment of older tunes on fiddle, five-string banjo and guitar, helped out by the great Snake Chapman and other fine performers.
