In the early '80s, Christine Lavin emerged as the star of New ì York City's Fast Folk musician's group, the singer/songwriter ì focal point in Greenwich Village. Her self-produced album was ì reissued by Philo in 1985, and includes her sharp observations ì encapsulated in numbers like 'Artificial Means' and 'Nobody's Fat ì in Aspen.'
