Home Brew continues a tradition of music-making at the Carawan household that has been going on for many years. Guy has had a solo musical career since the late 1950s. Candie began to sing with hi shortly after their marriage in the early 1960s. There was always a lot of music around the house with children Evan and Heather and with neighbors and friends. This collection includes songs learned from Los Lobos, Brownie McGhee, John McCutcheon, Jay Ungar, Utah Phillips, and others.
