Eddie LeJeune is one of the finest traditional Cajun accordionists and singers alive; it happens that he's the son of Iry LeJeune, one of the most influential Cajun musicians of the postwar period, but Eddie's music stands on its own merits and a lifetime of performing--he's been playing since he was a child, and he's logged close to 35 years in music. He's backed by the Morse Playboys, violinist Lionel Leleux and guitarist Hubert Maitre, who worked with another Cajun legend, Lawrence Walker. Among the fifteen songs here are four Eddie LeJeune originals and several traditional tunes that he arranged or added new lyrics to; two by Iry LeJeune, and one each from Lawrence Walker and Cleveland Crochet.
