To celebrate what would have been her 90th birthday and the release of the USPS Ella Fitzgerald Postage Stamp, Love Letters From Ella is a never before heard collection of love songs by the First Lady of Jazz, 13-time Grammy winner, Miss Ella Fitzgerald. In Hi-Definition Audio, Ella is heard here as never before with some of her favorite collaborators, including Count Basie and his Orchestra, André Previn, Joe Pass and, for the first time, the London Symphony Orchestra with brand new arrangements by 24-time Grammy nominated arranger-composer Jorge Calandrelli (Tony Bennett Duets).

The album features intimate moments with guitarist Pass, the powerful swing of Basie and the grandeur of the London Symphony recorded this year at Abbey Road Studios in London. The CD is also the cornerstone for the PBS Special taped on Ella’s birthday (April 25th) in 2007.
