Paintin' the Town Brown: Ween Live '90-'98 is an admirably eclectic compilation from Aaron Freeman and Mickey Melchiondo (known to their fans affectionately, as Gene and Dean Ween.) It is the first of their live albums and is sure to take the listener on an outrageously raw and R- rated journey back to where it all started. Culled from some nine years worth of tapes, Paintin' the Town Brown comes as close as you can get to approximating the full gonzo brilliance of a live Ween performance. The two-disc set covers all of the duo's stage incarnations, from their earliest appearances (backed only by a drum machine) to the full band assembled in support of . The album includes 'Mountain Dew,' 'Cover It with Gas and Set It on Fire' and 'Vallejo.'
