His first release from 1975, 'Près De Paris,' exemplifies Pierre Bensusan's traditional roots. As a teenager Pierre was 'discovered' by banjoist Bill Keith at a bluegrass festival in Switzerland; and subsequently played mandolin as his sideman. This is the first in the series of recordings from the audacious young Pierre. Hear for yourself why 'Près de Paris' was awarded the Grand Prix du Disque for Folk Music in 1976.
