Now available on CD! We here at Rounder are not sure what anniversary this is, but we're glad to be celebrating just the same. Tapdancin' Bats is the band's cult favorite from 1983. The album opens with 'Captain Lou,' their homage to wrestler Lou Albano, who appears on the song with his customary abandon. (The expanded CD issue also includes among its four additional tracks the B-side to that rare Lou & the Q single.) The album wraps up with the electronic wizardry of the title track. In between are all manner of rollicks, revelry, hammers, subtlety, sweetness and light. NRBQ: the only band in tune with every aspect of your life. Note: the CD version contains 16 tracks -- four more than the cassette version.
