From 1936 to 1951, brother duet the Blue Sky Boys dominated country music with some of the purest and most soulful country harmony ever heard. In 1964, the brothers reunited for an important concert at the University of Illinois; in the late '80s a tape of that performance surfaced. This album, taken from that tape, makes available for the first time the sound of one of country's legendary groups captured live on stage, doing many of the songs that helped set the standards for close harmony singing.
