The King, the Mice & the Cheese was the result of a week long project that Steve embarked on one Monday morning in May. With the help of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders of Monroe Elementary School and a little inspiration from Steve's favorite children's book, a full blown musical was written complete with catchy tunes, outrageous characters, side plots, multiple musical styles and, of course, a moral. Complete with square dancin' mice, magical lions, and bowling elephants, The King, the Mice & the Cheese is truly an adventure through a far off land.
