Ed Frank is a talented and influential pianist, who unfortunately ì is little known outside of New Orleans; his hard-bop group ì includes Smokey Johnson, best known as Fats Domino's drummer. ì McLean's Survivors are an eclectic group -- they do everything ì from Dave Bartholomew's 'Drink Jax Beer' to Sun Ra's 'Rocket ì Number Nine,' and provided the impetus for the current Charmaine ì Neville band.
