The Jazz Alliance is proud to present the debut of Susannah McCorkle’s “The People That You Never Get To Love” in Compact Disc format. This is a re-release of the original 1983 LP release.

Susannah’s performance on this album sounds especially fresh and spontaneous. All the groups numbers were recorded during one informal, relaxed, four hour recording session, that took place after her three week engagement at New York’s posh Michael’s Pub. During the engagement she sang these songs with the same talented musicians who are backing her on this album. She worked out arrangements with Pianist Keith Ingham and played with guitarist Al Gafa, bassist Steve LaSpina, and drummer Joe Cocuzzo.
