Timbalero/percussionist and bandleader Pete Escovedo has been at the forefront of Latin jazz for over three decades. Propelling his tight ensembles in a fearless and exhilarating alchemy of Afro-Cuban dance music, jazz, funk and contemporary music, Pete's refusal to observe musical boundaries have enabled him to forge a truly original sound—a sound that has always kept him a step ahead of the Latin jazz pack. Concord Vista is proud to present two essential Escovedo recordings – the dynamic, live Yesterday's Memories - Tomorrow's Dreams and the highly polished studio recording Mister E – together in one specially priced package.
