Tom Scott makes his MCG Jazz debut with Bebop United, a special return back to his traditional Bebop roots. Joining him for this live recording is legendary saxophonist, Phil Woods. Original Scott compositions include “Backburner” and “Silhouettes,” featuring Woods as well as classic Bebop tunes, including Cannonball Adderley’s “Sack O’ Woe.” The recording is due out in February 28, 2006.
