Ram Through History

The Chicago Tribune has a great write-up of the turbulent critical history of Paul McCartney's Ram, recently remastered and re-released by Hear Music. From the piece: "...it helps that, 41 years after its release, it has risen in reputation so that a sizable number of folks now consider it the best solo Beatles album."
Ram is officially credited to Paul and then wife Linda. Along with the standard release, it's also available as a Special Edition, Deluxe Edition (with a DVD) and on vinyl.
